The accessory manufacturer Nomad updated the Rugged series at the end of June. A Rugged Case and Rugged Folio for the iPad Pro were added.

Nomad has at the end of June two new covers made of Horween leather for the iPad Pro. These are available for both the 11- and 12.9-inch models. The company advertises the new products as follows:

We use American-made Horween leather for all of our Black & Rustic Brown cases and folios for the iPad Pro. These cases are crafted with care and designed to develop a beautiful patina over time and get better with age.

The use of Nomad's signature Horween leather sets these cases apart from the competition, as they change their appearance during use. Each variant follows a minimalist aesthetic and allows for wireless charging of the Apple Pencil.

Nomad Rugged Folio for iPad Pro

The Nomad Rugged Folio is like a functional case that combines sleek design with rugged protection. The case is made of high-quality polycarbonate and is connected to a raised TPE bumper that protects the iPad from daily bumps and scratches. The Rugged Folio is wrapped in supple Horween leather that develops a patina over time, giving the case a look all its own. The Rugged Folio folds easily into kickstand mode for easier reading, typing and streaming. It is available in black and brown. In addition, it has a magnetic closure and offers what is known as Smart Wake & Sleep functionality. The Rugged Folio for the iPad Pro 12.9″ is available for around $169.95 while the version for the iPad Pro 11″ costs $149.95.

Nomad Rugged Case for iPad Pro

Unlike the Rugged Folio, the Nomad Rugged Case only protects the back and edges of the iPad Pro - not the display. The structure is similar to that of the Folio. That is, the inside is made of high-quality polycarbonate, covered in Horween leather. It absorbs shocks and protects the tablet from scratches. Nomad has designed the accessory so that users can continue to use all interfaces. Charging the Apple Pencil is also no problem. The Rugged Case can also be purchased in black or brown. The 12.9-inch version costs 119.95 US dollars, while the 11-inch version costs 99.95 US dollars. Both products are now available from Nomad in the online shop available. (Image: Nomad)

Apple devices here are not test units on loan for two weeks but everyday tools: from the iPhone through MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and iMac to the Apple Vision Pro, at least one device from nearly every product category is in daily use, many of them replaced annually. Every menu path in a guide is verified on the device before it is published.
