Apple today announced a new replacement program for the iPhone 11. According to the company, devices manufactured between November 2019 and May 2020 are affected. However, this is only a "small percentage". The support document states:
Apple has determined that a small percentage of iPhone 11 displays may no longer respond to touch due to an issue with the display module. The affected devices were manufactured between November 2019 and May 2020.
Models that have this problem can be exchanged free of charge. Anyone can check whether the device is actually affected and qualifies for this exchange using the serial number. Apple has a tool for this provided.

Tip: This is how you find the serial number of your iPhone. Open the iOS settings and navigate to "General". Now tap on "About".
Customers whose devices need to be replaced can visit an authorized Apple service partner or Apple itself. The repair can of course also be carried out by mail.
