In the ever-evolving world of technology, Apple has once again demonstrated its ability to present innovative solutions with the new iPad Pro models. These devices stand out for their advanced display technologies and optimized performance features that make them a must-have for tech lovers and professionals.

The latest generation of iPad Pro models includes 11- and 13-inch variants, both equipped with impressive OLED displays. These displays not only offer exceptional brightness and color accuracy but also an adaptive refresh rate of up to 10 Hz, a first in the product lineDespite these innovations, an important function, the Always-On Display, remains withheld for the time being.

New display technology

The new iPad Pro models use what is known as LTPO (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) technology, which enables a variable refresh rate of 10 Hz to 120 Hz. This means that the display can adjust its refresh rate depending on the content being displayed in order to save energy, especially with static images. Experts such as Ross Young emphasize that this technology leads to reduced energy consumption, although battery life remains similar to the previous generation.

iPad Pro: Brightness and Performance

With the introduction of Tandem OLED technology, a new development in display technology, iPad Pros set new standards for brightness. This technology combines the light from two OLED panels, achieving a maximum brightness of up to 1,000 nits for standard dynamic range (SDR) content—a significant jump from the 600 nits of previous models.

availability and expectations

Starting today, interested parties can order the new iPad Pro models. Delivery will begin on Wednesday, May 15. Although these models offer many impressive features, the question remains as to when and if Apple will integrate the Always-On Display function, which can already be found in newer iPhone and Apple Watch models.

The new iPad Pros: More than just powerful

While the lack of the Always-On display may be a disappointment for some users, the new iPad Pro models still offer a wealth of improvements that make them an attractive option for anyone who values advanced technology and high performance. With their impressive display technology and unchanged battery life, the iPad Pros remain leaders in their category and set the bar high for future innovations. By continually improving their technology and pushing the boundaries of what is possible, Apple is once again confirming its reputation as a pioneer in the tech world.
