With the latest iOS 17 update, Apple has introduced a practical solution to the annoying problem of overcrowded messaging apps. Verification codes that clog up the app and have to be deleted manually are a thing of the past.

It can be frustrating when the Messages app is constantly flooded with verification codes. Manually deleting these codes can be time-consuming and annoying. Thankfully, iOS 17 offers an efficient solution to this problem that automates the deletion of verification codes. The new iOS 17 update includes a handy feature called Auto-Delete that makes it easy to delete verification codes in the Messages and Mail apps. Once you've entered a verification code into an app or website using the Autofill feature, you can have it automatically removed from the Messages or Mail app.

Clever feature in iOS 17: Automatically delete and fill verification codes

To enable this feature, you can turn on the "Auto-delete" option for verification codes in the Passwords app under "Password Options." This will automatically delete verification codes received through the Messages app after they've been used. In addition, iOS 17 also offers a new feature to auto-fill verification codes in the Mail app. When you receive a one-time code via email, the Mail app will automatically recognize it and fill it in Safari without you having to leave the Mail app.

conclusion

With iOS 17, deleting unnecessary verification codes in the Messages and Mail app is child's play. The "Auto-delete" function ensures that the app is no longer cluttered and you can concentrate on what's important. The update offers a convenient and time-saving solution to this everyday problem. Look forward to the release of iOS 17 and experience the improved user-friendliness of the Messages and Mail app. Are you looking for new accessories?
