iOS 14.7 and battery life
It is currently unknown whether the update also addresses problems with the battery life of iPhones. We will monitor the whole thing over the next few days and weeks and report accordingly. It is still unclear whether iOS 14.7 will be the last update before iOS 15. Update:
Contrary to expectations, Apple has released the second release candidate version of macOS Big Sur 11.5 (build number: 20G71) for registered developers. This means that the Mac update will be made available to all users a little later than expected.

Despite early signs and documentation pointing to a release of iPadOS 14.7 alongside iOS 14.7, the download of the update itself does not seem to be fully available – we are monitoring the situation.
