During the “Spring Loaded” event, Apple confirmed that iOS 14.5, iPadOS 14.5, tvOS 14.5, watchOS 7.4 and macOS Big Sur 11.3 will be made available to all users in a few days. But when exactly will the updates be released?
While Apple scheduled the launch of iOS 14.5 and Co. for next week on Tuesday and released corresponding release candidate versions, no specific date was given. Accordingly, the new versions will be rolled out sometime between April 26 and 30. Apple has also informed developers that all apps must be built with the iOS 14 SDK and must meet the app tracking transparency requirements from Monday, April 26, which suggests that the new operating system updates will be released on that day. New iOS updates usually appear at 7 p.m. CET in this country.
