Apple released the first beta of iOS 14.3 for developers last night. References were discovered in the code that can be attributed to the AirTags. Now there are further details on the topic.
iOS 14.3 adds some useful new features and improvements, but there are also hints of unreleased products, including the AirTags and AirPods Studio. According to the code supports iOS 14.3 AirTags and other third-party tracking accessories. Now MacRumors contributor and developer Steve Mooser has revealed more features related to the AirTags discovered. One of the code strings is:

AirTags: Apple wants to prevent unwanted tracking or even stalking
Another section indicates that Apple could warn users with an "Unknown Accessory Detected" message if they are wearing a tracking device that doesn't belong to them. It states:
This item has been travelling with you for a while. The owner can see its location.
Additionally, instructions are included explaining how to remove unknown AirTags so users can stop sharing their location. These security and protection features should help alleviate concerns about unwanted tracking or even stalking, for example, if someone secretly places an AirTag device in someone's pocket. Although iOS 14.3 supports AirTags, this doesn't mean Apple will introduce the accessory anytime soon. References to the code have been discovered several times over the past 18 months.
