Now it's official. The unc0ver team released the latest jailbreak tool "unc0ver" 5.0 on Sunday night and it works with iOS 13.5 - as previously announced.
Apple released iOS 13.5 to all users on Wednesday published and implemented some interesting features as well as changes to Face ID and adjustments to existing functions. In the course of this, a new version of the “unc0ver” tool was announced, which uses an unspecified zero-day exploit originally discovered by security researcher and hacker "pwn2ownd". The latest version is said to be able to crack almost any signed iOS version on any iPhone (including the latest generation).
From iOS 11 to iOS 13.5
According to this, iOS 13.5 is not safe from jailbreaking. Declarations According to the unc0ver team, the jailbreak has been "extensively tested" and can be used on all versions between iOS 11.0 and iOS 13.5. The developers also claim that the tool uses "appropriate and deterministic techniques" for a stable jailbreak. There are also "exceptions to the native system sandbox" to keep the cracked device safe while allowing access to jailbreak files. How long the jailbreak will actually work remains to be seen. Apple will certainly work to find the vulnerability and close it in a future update.
