Apple released the first public beta of iOS 13.1 and iPadOS this evening. The seventh beta of macOS Catalina was also released to developers.

With yesterday's Publication Apple caused a lot of discussion with the first iOS 13.1 beta for developers. Never before in history has a point update for an iOS beta been released before the first version was available to all users. At first, the Apple community thought it was a mistake, but as the night went on, it became clear that Apple was serious. Now, one day later, users of the public beta can also enjoy the first iOS 13.1 preview. Registered participants in the public beta program can download the update as usual via the settings in General under Software Update.

You can find all the new features in the current iOS 13.1 beta here If you are not a public beta participant yet, you can read our guide on this topic here find.

Notice – As usual, a beta should not be installed on an actively used device, as they are usually quite unstable and buggy – we recommend using a second device for this. (Photo by Unsplash)
