The Huawei Mate X is a foldable smartphone that is intended to compete with Samsung's Galaxy Fold Now there is a start date.

Huawei has already announced the launch of its Mate X several times delay - and rightly so. The Chinese electronics manufacturer's quality standards are generally higher than those of certain competitors. The Huawei Mate X is set to debut in China on November 15. The foldable smartphone can be purchased for the equivalent of 2,400 US dollars (16,999 yuan). Whether the device will be launched in international markets remains unknown for the time being. A statement states:

"Our strategy is based on the 5G rollout of carriers in different regions. The Huawei Mate X will be available in the Chinese market on November 15th. A global launch plan is currently being reviewed."

Specifications – What the Huawei Mate X offers

In addition to the Mate X, an improved version called the Mate XS has already been introduced. However, this is due to be released next year. There are already some details about the specifications of the Huawei Mate X. The foldable smartphone is said to have a 6.6-inch front display while the back has a 6.38-inch screen. When unfolded, the device offers the user an 8-inch display with a resolution of 2,480 x 2,200 pixels.

Inside you'll find the Kirin 980 processor and the Balong 5000 5G modem. The modem was already installed in the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G model. The Mate X is also expected to come with 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage - whether the device will actually sell remains to be seen. (Photo by Veja / Bigstockphoto)

Apple devices here are not test units on loan for two weeks but everyday tools: from the iPhone through MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and iMac to the Apple Vision Pro, at least one device from nearly every product category is in daily use, many of them replaced annually. Every menu path in a guide is verified on the device before it is published.
