Some Apple customers may receive their orders for the M1-equipped iPad Pro earlier than expected, as at least one person has already received the 12.9-inch 5th generation model a week before the expected launch date.
The updated iPad Pro was announced as part of Apple's "Spring Loaded" special event, with widespread availability expected from May 21. However, one customer received his order a full week before the scheduled launch. In a post on Reddit's r/iPad on Saturday, user "PeterDragon50" posted pictures of an iPad Pro he had picked up from a store. In the Thread, first reported by MacRumors discovered It is alleged that the person was informed by retailer Nebraska Furniture Mart that their iPad Pro was ready for pickup. It is very likely that the order was mistakenly delivered much sooner than Apple desired.

However, Apple has not given a firm release date other than the "second half of May," with leaks on Apple's website metadata pointing to an intended launch on May 21. Still, it could now be the case that other people besides the Reddit user will receive their order earlier.
