Apple has announced that Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro will soon be available as subscription models for the iPad. The two applications will feature completely new touch user interfaces that make the most of multitouch on the iPad. Apple promises users improved intuitiveness and immediacy when working.

Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro have long been popular applications for video editing and music production respectively. By making them available as a subscription model for the iPad, Apple now wants to appeal to mobile users and make the most of the potential of the touch interfaces. Final Cut Pro for the iPad offers videographers a powerful suite of tools for recording, editing, finishing and sharing videos. With the new touch interface, users can make their workflows more intuitive.

Logic Pro for the iPad offers music creators over 100 instruments and effect plug-ins as well as production tools for creating your own drum kits and programming beats and bass lines. The new touch interface is designed to enable intuitive operation.

With the Apple Pencil, users can make precise edits and perform detailed automation of drawn tracks. Both applications are offered as a subscription model for 4.99 euros per month or 49.99 euros per year and include a free trial of one month. Final Cut Pro requires an iPad with an M1 chip or newer, while Logic Pro requires an A12 Bionic iPad or newer.
