Attention Disney fans. Today new details were announced regarding the upcoming streaming service Disney+.

According to the company, Disney+ will launch in Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, Switzerland and the UK on March 24th this year. This means that the launch of the new streaming service has been brought forward by a week, as the original launch was scheduled for March 31st. Other European markets, including Belgium and Portugal, are expected to follow in the summer of this year. 

Disney+ will be available on these devices

In addition to the official launch dates, the prices were also mentioned. According to this, the Disney+ Subscription costs around 6.99 euros per month - if you opt for an annual subscription, you will pay around 69.99 euros per year for the streaming service. Disney+ will also be available on the following devices at launch:

  • LG Smart TVs
  • Samsung Smart TVs
  • Roku's streaming devices
  • Apple TV
  • iOS
  • Android
  • Xbox One
  • Playstation 4

Disney+ subscribers get access to high-quality and, above all, ad-free content. The company allows a total of four streams at the same time. The account can be linked to up to 10 devices at the same time. However, there will be no download limit. It will also be possible to store up to seven profiles in one account - which will also receive personalized recommendations.
