Apple released iOS 13.6 and more to all users on July 15. Now the signing of iOS 13.5.1 has been stopped.

iOS 13.6 introduced a few notable features, including CarKey. Now the signing of iOS 13.5.1 has been officially discontinued. When Apple stops signing an iOS version, this means that users are no longer able to upgrade to the previous version via PC or Mac. Like other iOS updates, iOS 13.6 also brings a number of security improvements by fixing various vulnerabilities. Such security gaps make Devices vulnerable and also allow a jailbreak. For this reason, Apple stops signing older iOS versions. iOS 13.5.1 was released in June with a fix for a kernel vulnerability that the unc0ver jailbreak exploited This enabled the jailbreak on all devices running iOS 13.5.

New features in iOS 13.6

iOS 13.6 fixes some bugs and adds interesting features addedA particularly critical problem that led to high battery consumption should now also be history. One of the main innovations can be found under the settings in the software updates section. It used to be possible to control automatic updates. From now on, users can also control the automatic installation of an update. Both switches are currently activated by default. So if you don't want that, you will have to deactivate the whole thing manually after updating to iOS 13.6. In addition, Apple has implemented a feature called "Symptoms" in the Health app. The section includes a total of 33 different symptoms, including body and muscle pain, changes in appetite, coughing, dizziness, fainting, headaches, nausea and more. Users can therefore log one of these signs of illness in the corresponding section and thus track it. (Photo by Oleksii Lishchyshyn / Bigstockphoto)
