Apple released iOS 16.0.2 for all iPhone users late Thursday evening. The update contains important bug fixes, not only for iPhone 14 owners but also for other models. For example, the update fixes an issue that can cause the iPhone 14 Pro's camera to shake unexpectedly in some apps and also fixes the constant copy and paste prompt throughout the system.

As iPhone 14 Pro users have discovered, some third-party apps like Snapchat and TikTok have caused the camera to shake and vibrate. Although the official reasons for this are still unclear, the bug likely affected the optical stabilization of the camera lenses.

Another bug that annoyed iOS 16 users was related to the new Copy and Paste permission, which asks users whether they want to allow or deny an app access to the system clipboard. However, this prompt appeared constantly, even if they had allowed a specific app access to the clipboard. Both bugs were fixed with iOS 16.0.2. According to the update description fixes iOS 16.0.2 also fixes VoiceOver bugs and display issues that occur on some iPhone models. Users can now update to iOS 16.0.2 by opening the Software Update menu in the iPhone Settings app. Below you will find the update description in full. (Photo by Unsplash / Jeremy Bezanger)
