After pictures appeared yesterday showing the new design of the leather straps with loops, further material has now been published on the Vietnamese website Tinhte.vn. According to this, the new Apple Watch accessories are available in red, hot pink, blue, black and brown. However, some of the straps have different color accents on the sides. The new design, as can be seen, has a more pronounced ribbing - unlike the previous version. The straps from Tinhte.vn are all intended for the 44 mm version.
Will the existing collection be expanded?
But yesterday's images also suggest a version for the smaller Apple Watch. Leather straps with loops are currently only available for the large smartwatch, so this should also be a welcome feature. If you look at the straps more closely, they give the impression that they have waterproof properties. If this is actually the case, the accessories should appeal to a wider audience. However, it remains to be seen whether Apple wants to replace the current collection with the new straps or expand the range. According to a previous leak, the new straps will be presented in June.
