As expected, Apple has introduced the third generation iPad Pro. Apple is launching the popular tablet with many new features in a completely new design.
After numerous rumors and leaks, it is not surprising that Apple has introduced a new iPad Pro. The new professional tablet has a lot to offer. As expected, the biometric recognition technology Face ID has prevailed - but without the notch. This means that Touch ID is finally a thing of the past on the iPad Pro.
display and connections
Specifically, the iPad Pro will be available with a 12.9” and 11” display diagonal. Although the device only has a very narrow bezel, it does not have a notch for the TrueDepth camera. This is made possible by the new Liquid Retina display of the new iPad Pro. In addition, facial recognition also works in landscape format. The Lightning port has been replaced by a USB-C port and the headphone jack has been completely omitted.
Camera
The 7 megapixel front camera can now be used for portrait shots as well as Animoji and Memoji. The 12 megapixel rear camera has a True Tone flash and offers optical image stabilization. This makes recordings in 4K resolution even better.
Color options, storage variants & Apple Sim
The new iPad Pro is available in silver and space gray. It can be purchased in 64 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB and, for the first time, 1 TB storage versions. It is also available with Apple Sim (dual-Sim option).
Processor
The heart of the new iPad Pro is the A12X Bionic chip. This provides an hour more battery life. The 64-bit processor is also supported by Apple's Neural Engine and the GPU is twice as fast as the previous model.
