Apple has included a new login process for iCloud.com in the current betas of iOS 13, iPadOS and macOS Catalina – so beta testers can use it immediately.

Many users use their iCloud on the web - Apple wants to make it easier for them to log in to the new operating systems in the future. Beta testers can log in using Face ID or Touch ID on iOS 13, iPadOS and macOS Catalina. If you open the website beta.icloud.com via Safari from an iPhone, iPad or Mac, a window appears that allows you to log in using the biometric recognition technologies Face ID or Touch ID - assuming you have a device with the latest beta. The interesting thing is that the process does not require two-factor authentication.

Easier and safer

It is assumed that this is an offshoot of “Sign in with Apple“ Signing in using Face ID or Touch ID on iCloud.com is not only easier but also more secure, as you no longer need to enter your login information. The process is similar to the purchase confirmation in the App Store or iTunes Store. You can find out when the new operating systems are available for all users in our analysis read it. Apple devices here are not test units on loan for two weeks but everyday tools: from the iPhone through MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and iMac to the Apple Vision Pro, at least one device from nearly every product category is in daily use, many of them replaced annually. Every menu path in a guide is verified on the device before it is published.
