Yesterday evening, Apple released iOS 15.0.2, iPadOS 15.0.2 and watchOS 8.0.1 for all users worldwide. The update not only fixed bugs but also closed a security hole.
With iOS 15.0.2, Apple has fixed more bugs that crept into iOS 15. For example, problems with AirTags in connection with Find My were eliminated, a bug with the new MagSafe Wallet was corrected and more. A serious problem was also fixed where photos were removed from the Photos app after a conversation in Messages was deleted. But in addition to all the bugs, a security hole was also closed that Apple says was even actively exploited. On Apple's support website It is stated that “improved memory management” has closed a security vulnerability that “could potentially allow an application to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges.”

iOS 15.0.2 was released just one week after iOS 15.0.1 published. Both updates are intended to fix annoying bugs and improve stability. iOS 15.1 is currently in the beta phase.
