AirTags

AirTags are Apple's small Bluetooth trackers that let you locate keys, wallets, backpacks, camera gear or luggage through the massive Find My network. Introduced in April 2021, AirTag combines an Apple chip with ultra-wideband technology for Precision Finding, a built-in speaker for pinging, and a user-replaceable coin-cell battery. Thanks to the anonymized crowd network of millions of active Apple devices, AirTags can be found even when they are far outside their owner's range – complemented by features such as sharing an AirTag with family or friends, sharing locations with airlines for lost luggage, and strict anti-stalking mechanisms that surface unknown trackers on iPhone and Android.

This tag directory on apfelpatient.de pulls together everything around AirTags: reviews and hands-on reports on every AirTag generation, tips and tricks for setup, reset, battery replacement and Precision Finding, background on every hardware update, new features around Find My and airline luggage tracking, security and privacy topics around anti-stalking protection, accessories for keyrings, wallets and luggage, and comparisons with third-party trackers such as Tile, Chipolo and Samsung.

Anyone wanting to integrate AirTags seamlessly into everyday life, get the most out of the Find My network or understand Apple's tracker strategy will find a continuous topic stream right here.
