Apple is reportedly planning to unveil new products via press release this week. But when exactly will this happen and what hardware would be suitable for this step?
According to the Apple leaker Jon Prosser Apple will publish its first product announcement of 2023 tomorrow, Tuesday, January 17, via a press release on its website. Both MacRumors as well as 9to5mac have already confirmed that the announcement will take place later this week. The announcement could be one of several products expected in the near future, including updated MacBook Pros and Mac mini models.
Apple could introduce new Mac devices this week
The updated 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro devices are expected to have the same design as the models announced in October 2021, only the performance will be improved thanks to the M2 Pro and M2 Max chips. An updated Mac mini is also expected to benefit from the performance of the new M2 chips. But rumors say it will have the same design as the current model.
