Rumors suggest that the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will come with significantly smaller bezels. The reduction of the bezel to 1.5 millimeters compared to the previous 2.2 millimeters is made possible by the innovative Low-Injection Pressure Over-Molding (LIPO) technology. New information suggests that Apple also wants to use this technology on the iPad to reduce the bezel of future models.

The demand for slim and elegant design drives technology companies to constantly look for innovative solutions. Apple, as a pioneer in the technology industry, plans to adapt the LIPO technology, which has already been successfully used in the Apple Watch, for the iPad. This should not only improve the aesthetic appearance of the device but also create more space for the display to optimize the user experience. Mark Gurman of Bloomberg has latest issue of the Power On newsletter revealed that Apple will use LIPO technology for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

LIPO technology in the iPad: shrinking frame, impressive display

This technology allows the frame to be significantly reduced to just 1.5 millimeters, compared to the previous 2.2 millimeters on the current iPhones. Originally used in the Apple Watch Series 7 to make the edges thinner and the display larger, LIPO technology is now also being used in the new iPhones. LIPO technology opens up the possibility for Apple to transfer the new design to the iPad as well. Although it is currently working on a new version of the iPad Pro, which is unlikely to use LIPO technology, the Bloomberg report suggests that Apple is planning a visual overhaul of the iPad in the future. With the use of LIPO, the frame of the iPad could be significantly reduced to create more space for the display and thus improve the user experience. (Photo by DenPhoto / Bigstockphoto)
