Apple's AR/VR headset, likely to be called "Reality Pro," is expected to be announced at an event in the spring - before WWDC 2023 in June. However, the market launch is not expected until the fall.
In his current “Power On” newsletter reported Bloomberg's Mark Gurman said Apple currently plans to announce the headset at an event in the spring before the Worldwide Developers Conference in June. According to Gurman, Apple plans to announce the product and introduce the xrOS operating system to developers at WWDC before shipping it in the fall.

The final postponement, at least for now, came last year. Until recently, Apple had planned to unveil the headset in January 2023 and ship it later that year. Now the company plans to unveil it in the spring, ahead of the annual Worldwide Developers Conference in June. Under the current plan, Apple could unveil the device to consumers — likely under the name Reality Pro — and then start getting developers acquainted with the software features in June. Under that schedule, the company would then ship the product in fall 2023.
Apple has been rumored to be working on an AR/VR headset for several years, and 2023 now seems to be the year it will finally be announced. According to Gurman, Apple is already working with several "high-profile developers" on experiences and apps for the new headset and xrOS operating system. Apple's first headset is expected to be a high-end and niche product aimed at professionals and developers, before a more consumer-friendly headset arrives in the next few years.
