While the iPhone 14 was available with a choice of 16 leather cases, the iPhone 15 could potentially do without this option. But what is behind these claims? Images posted on Weibo by serial leakers such as Majin Bu and DuanRui published show supposed cases for the upcoming iPhone 15. These images, apparently from the same source, show classic Apple cases with soft lining, the signature Apple branding, and an integrated MagSafe ring. Majin Bu goes into detail in a separate post, revealing that the planned iPhone 15 faux leather cases could come in black, gray, green, blue, and purple. Although the material differs from real leather, it still promises similar quality and functionality. Color variations could occur, however. The faux leather cases will be made from a woven pair of materials that create a leather-like effect. At the same time, Apple is emphasizing its more environmentally friendly approach to material choices, according to the leaker.
