In 2016, Apple removed the headphone jack from the iPhone for the first time and from then on included the Lightning to jack adapter with new devices. Now that is set to change in the future.
At the beginning of August, there was a rumor that Apple would no longer include the Lightning to jack adapter with the new iPhones. Now a photo of an alleged iPhone box sticker is doing the rounds online. This describes what is included with the iPhone Xs.
According to the description, the small adapter for the headphones will not be included. This would also mean that the iGroup will continue to deliver the iPhones with a Lightning to USB-A cable and not switch to Lightning to USB-C as current rumors suggest.
Of course, a switch would be possible despite the lack of labeling, but Apple usually explicitly refers to USB-C ports, which is not the case here.
The keynote will take place on September 12th at 7:00 p.m. CET in the Steve Jobs Theater. In addition to the new iPhones, new Apple Watch models are also expected.
