The upcoming iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus could come with an impressive 48-megapixel camera. According to Jeff Pu, a respected analyst, these models will launch this year and will use a new triple-stacked sensor technology to deliver outstanding image quality. However, there are hints of possible production delays due to challenges in manufacturing the stacked sensor.

Apple has always strived to improve the camera quality of its iPhones and the iPhone 15 is no exception in this regard. With a 48-megapixel camera, Apple will offer users unprecedented resolution and detail. The introduction of a 48-megapixel camera lens in the iPhone 14 Pro models was already a milestone for Apple. Now it seems that the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus could take this impressive resolution and improve it further. Analyst Jeff Pu has reported (via MacRumors) that Apple will use a new stacked sensor that can capture more light and thus enable better image quality.

The rumor mill is bubbling: Will the iPhone 15 & iPhone 15 Plus come with a 48-megapixel camera?

However, challenges in the production of the stacked sensor could lead to delays. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are expected to launch in September, as has been the case in recent years. However, exact availability depends on the challenges in sensor production. Nevertheless, we can look forward to a camera experience that offers impressive details, sharpness and color fidelity. In addition, Jeff Pu revealed other interesting details about the iPhone 15 Pro models. Although they are said to have no solid-state buttons, they will offer a robust titanium frame as well as an improved A17 Bionic chip and additional RAM. It is also claimed that all four iPhone 15 models will be equipped with a USB-C port, which ensures faster data transfer and compatibility. (Image: Apple)
