The displays of the new “iPhone 14 Pro” and “iPhone 14 Pro Max” will be hundredths of a millimeter larger, according to a supply chain analyst.
Leaks have revealed that the iPhone 14 Pro models will feature a pill-shaped and punch-hole cutout with slimmer bezels around the display. These changes will slightly increase the total available display area. Display supply chain analyst Ross Young has now revealed the exact dimensions for these new models. communicatedHe attributes the increase in size to the bezels and the cutout, although the cutout should not affect the display size but only the effective display area.
Presentation of the iPhone 14 series is expected in September
According to his tweet, the iPhone 14 Pro has a 6.12-inch diagonal, compared to the iPhone 13 Pro's 6.06-inch diagonal. The iPhone 14 Pro Max has an even smaller change, from 6.68 inches to 6.69 inches. This increase in screen size is unlikely to be noticeable to users. The iPhone 14 series is expected to be unveiled at an event in September. (Photo by Eremin / Bigstockphoto)
