Rumors about the iPhone 13 series are documented almost daily. While many reports are repeated, there is something completely new for a change. According to a recent rumor, the new models could support faster charging speeds of up to 25W.

The iPhone 12 supports fast charging with a 20W or higher power adapter. But – even if users use a stronger adapter, the iPhone itself only supports up to 20W. Today’s rumor According to Apple, this fall it will offer users support for a 25W power adapter, and thus also offer its own 25W power adapter as an accessory for purchase. Apple's current 20W charger costs 25 euros, so it's unlikely that much will change in terms of price. But seriously - compared to 20W, 25W will not bring a drastic change in charging speed or the typical daily charging process for users. However, Apple would be on par with many flagship Android smartphones, such as the Samsung Galaxy S21, which already supports 25W. Be that as it may.

iPhone 13: Pro versions to receive more advanced displays

Apple will most likely increase the battery capacity of this year's models again. Accordingly, the faster charging speed could be integrated in combination with this upgrade. Since the Pro models are supposed to get more advanced displays (according to the rumor mill), a larger battery would make sense anyway. Overall, the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max are expected to benefit from LTPO displays, which not only offer a better viewing experience with ProMotion 120Hz refresh rate but can also support the always-on functionality. Of course, we will have to wait and see whether this actually happens in the end. (Photo by ms_pics_and_more / Bigstockphoto)
