As part of its efforts to expand its health and wellness features, Apple will launch a new wellness coaching service powered by artificial intelligence, according to Bloomberg. Additionally, the company plans to bring the Health app to the iPad with iPadOS 17 and add new features for tracking emotions and managing vision.

Apple's Health app is a central part of the company's healthcare efforts, offering users the ability to store fitness data and external health data from the Apple Watch and allowing users to share information with their doctors.

With iPadOS 17: Apple brings Health app to the iPad

With iPadOS 17, the Health app will come to the iPad for the first time and will add new features for tracking emotions and managing vision contain. In the future, Apple is also planning new emotion tracking technology and is working on an artificial intelligence wellness coaching service to help users improve their fitness and nutrition habits and sleep better. Apple's Health app will also include mood and emotion tracking features separate from the journaling app. Apple's hope is that the iPad version of the Health app will gain popularity in the healthcare space, where tablets are already very successful.

The Health app is to be expanded

This year, the Health app will expand to include tools for tracking emotions and managing vision impairments such as nearsightedness. The first version of the emotion tracker lets users record their mood and answer questions about their day and compare the results over time. But in the future, Apple hopes that the iPhone will be able to determine the user's mood based on algorithms, the words they type and other device information.
