Apple's team working on the company's long-discussed electric vehicle has been "disbanded for some time" and will soon need to be reorganized so that mass production of the vehicle can begin by 2025. This is now reported by renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

Apple's vice president of technology, Kevin Lynch, took over the leadership of the Apple Car project last year, according to Gurman. Lynch, who is known for his work on the Apple Watch, has been with Apple since 2013 and previously held a senior position at Adobe.
