It is not known whether they are related to the assembly or a charging process. The Youtuber believes that the iPhone 12 series is "probably perfectly matched to Apple's wireless chargers". He is referring to the as yet unreleased AirPower.
Wireless PowerShare in iPhone 12?
Apple introduced its own charging mat in 2017, which never went into production due to technical problems and was canceled in March 2019. But rumors that Apple is working on a new version have been with us for months. This means that some now believe that the back of the devices could be specially designed for the new accessories. But there are also voices that express a different assumption - Wireless PowerShare. The iPhone 11 series was already rumored to be able to get the Wireless PowerShare function (bilateral charging), which was already built into the Samsung Galaxy S10.
