Siri AI

Siri AI is the new generation of Apple's voice assistant: a completely redesigned version of Siri built on the next generation of Apple Intelligence. Siri AI holds real conversations, understands personal context from messages, emails and calendar, recognizes what is currently on screen, and handles multistep tasks across multiple apps. It also brings a dedicated Siri app that saves conversations and syncs them via iCloud, writing tools in almost any text field, and customizable voices. Siri AI is available with iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27 Golden Gate, watchOS 27 and visionOS 27 or later and requires a device with Apple Intelligence.

Its roots go back to 2011, when Siri debuted with the iPhone 4s. The road to Siri AI was a long one: the AI version announced in 2024 was delayed before Apple unveiled the completely new version in June 2026.
